How HireDrive handles your data.

We may collect the following categories of information when you use HireDrive:

• Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, and profile details.
• Resume and workflow information, including uploaded files, extracted text, job targets, generated drafts, and saved builder content.
• Public-tool interaction data, including information submitted through no-account flows such as the public resume builder and download actions.
• Communications data, including support requests, referral activity, replies, and marketing preferences.
• Technical, security, and analytics data needed to host, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

When you use a public HireDrive feature without creating or signing into an account, HireDrive may still collect the information you submit in that flow, including contact information, resume-builder content, and download activity.

We use that information to deliver the requested output, secure and improve the feature, measure product interest, prevent abuse, and maintain a record of no-account contacts who may receive follow-up communications consistent with the Terms of Service and applicable law.

If you use the HireDrive browser extension, HireDrive may process information needed to support that workflow, including extension-session identifiers, active page URLs, page titles, extracted job text, selected document identifiers, saved job captures, linked application records, and related extension requests.

That information is used to authenticate the extension, confirm plan access, connect the live page back to your HireDrive workspace, load your selected documents, improve repeated employer workflows, and show structured role signals for tailoring and review.

HireDrive does not need to store a permanent copy of every page interaction inside the extension itself. The extension is intended to hold operational state only, while HireDrive remains the primary system of record for saved roles, applications, resumes, and cover letters.

HireDrive uses information it collects to:

• Create, authenticate, and secure accounts.
• Operate the resume builder, resume-improvement workflows, targeting flows, and downloads you request.
• Support browser-extension authentication, live job capture, document delivery, and application tracking.
• Store files, generated outputs, and workflow history.
• Provide customer support, respond to messages, and investigate incidents.
• Send transactional, lifecycle, product, promotional, and educational communications.
• Enforce limits, prevent abuse, and improve product quality, reliability, and safety.

HireDrive may send marketing, promotional, educational, or product-update emails to account holders and to certain no-account users who submit contact information through public HireDrive workflows, subject to the Terms of Service and applicable law.

Marketing emails are intended to include unsubscribe controls. When you use those controls, HireDrive may apply the opt-out across matching HireDrive records for the same email address, including account-based marketing preferences and no-account marketing-contact records, so your preference stays aligned.

If you choose Google sign-in, HireDrive currently requests Google account access only for the email and basic profile scopes used for authentication.

HireDrive does not request Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, or broader Google account content as part of the current sign-in flow.

HireDrive uses third-party service providers to operate the product and deliver requested features. Those providers may process information on HireDrive's behalf only as reasonably necessary to support the service.

• Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage.
• OpenAI for structured analysis and AI-assisted resume generation steps.
• Vercel for hosting, delivery, and operational telemetry.
• Resend for email delivery and email template operations.
• Mapbox for optional address autofill features when enabled.

HireDrive retains account records, uploaded materials, generated outputs, and related workflow records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and protect the platform.

No-account marketing or public-tool contact records may be retained until you opt out, request deletion where applicable, or HireDrive determines the record is no longer operationally useful, subject to backup, abuse-prevention, and legal retention requirements.

• You can update certain account profile details from your account settings.
• You can delete uploaded resumes from the dashboard when those features are available.
• You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or other preference controls provided.
• You can contact us if you need help with account deletion, data questions, or policy requests.

HireDrive uses hosted infrastructure, access controls, and operational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

HireDrive is intended for professional and career-related use and is not directed to children under 13.

HireDrive may update this Privacy Policy as the product and its legal obligations evolve. When that happens, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
